“Tell me what talkinbg to KLab is like in real life!” “Enough about the food!” you might be saying. It is also the setting for the classic manga and anime Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, for those of you 90’s kids who remember! Roppongi is in the Minato ward, which is a very classy and upscale business district. The hotel is a twenty-five minute walk or train ride from the KLab offices, so we decided to walk so we could check out the scenery in Roppongi. We got checked in, and I was able to dump my suitcase, pillow and backpack off and condense down to just my purse and a shopping bag with the Worldwide Thank You book in it. Here’s their website if you want to check it out! It was called Marroad Inn Akasaka, and I liked that it was conveniently located near a Lawson and a 7-11! It was also only a few blocks from the station. I don’t think it really hit me that I was in another country until we were getting off the train to take the subway to Akasaka, where our hotel was. Alex was not only tiering in the Uta no Prince Sama Shining Live event, she was playing UtaPri for the PSP! (She was on Natsuki’s route at the time.) Sénen and I also have somewhat similar tastes in console games. My job, my family (Alex, S énen and I all have siblings who live in other countries!), my Love Live pilgrimage, and other games we play. So I talked to these two guys about anything and everything that popped into my head. It turns out I get very extremely overly talkative when I’m tired. Okay, so you might think since I had spent the last 20 hours in transit I’d be too tired to talk. So after that, Alex got us train tickets from Narita to Tokyo, courtesy of KLab.

Here’s a link with more info about them if you’re planning a trip any time soon! The funny thing is, the lady at the ticket booth didn’t even need our passports…she could tell we were foreign just by looking at us. Props to Sénen for doing the research on this! These passes are available at a big discount to foreign tourists and are really useful if you plan to travel around Tokyo. And the first thing I bought with it was a 48 hour subway pass. The first was a portable WiFi device which I could use with my phone! The second thing was my ¥40000 allowance for the week. When I arrived, Alex gave me two very important things. Alex did a really beautiful job on the sign, didn’t she? S énen had arrived a few hours earlier and he and Alex had been checking out some of the cool places at the airport, like the Pokémon Center.
